• New York State Builders Association www.nysba.com – NYSBA website offers help on wide range of consumer issues. The first and foremost is affordable workforce housing that allows members of the community to live in the same areas they work.
• National Association of Home Builders www.nahb.com – The NAHB site is designed for those interested in home building and the industry – it contains resources for both members and consumers.
• NYS Building Codes dos.state.ny.us/code/ls-codes.html – The Codes Division provides a variety of services related to New York’s Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code and State Energy Conservation Construction Code. The Division provides technical assistance, administers variances, delivers educational courses, oversees the enforcement practices of local governments and serves as secretariat to the State Fire Prevention and Building Code Council.
